The quest for a new constitution went a notch higher Sunday, with members of the National Civil Society Congress (NCSC) appealing to Kenyans to support the process in order for them to finally realize the long awaited constitution.

The team hailed the Committee of Experts and the Parliamentary Committee on constitution for the great steps they have undertaken so far.

However the NCSC urged those opposed to the inclusion of Kadhi's court, to draw back and re-focus on their stand. The civil society group also took issue with the debate on abortion, challenging the faithfuls to engage on the talks soberly

They appealed to the legislators not to personalize the constitution making process and give the Committee of Experts time as approved by the review act
