Fighting drug abuse among the youth

Mediamax Networks Limited Managing Director Rose Kimotho is calling on parents to be in the front line in the fight against drug abuse among othe vices affecting the youth. 

 

She was speaking during the launch of a book authored by Anglican Lay Canon Gedion N. Noma.

 

The book titled "Walking in the Light" is about qualities of living and having faith in God. In the book, Canon Noma spells out how post-colonial activities affected him negatively and threatened his success in life.

 

 

 

 

 

Canon Noma, businessman and church leader is urging the youth to, "abandon crime."

 

Speaking during the launch of the autobiography, Kimotho said drug abuse, and crime are the main issues affecting the youth and challenged parents to play their role in bringing up responsible citizens.

 

The book is available in various bookstores around the country.
