The Education Ministry has transitioned from the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) to a new system known as Competency-Based Education (CBE). Education Principal Secretary Julius Bitok praised CBE as “the best education system in the world,” highlighting its emphasis on fostering students' unique interests and talents. During a thanksgiving event at Baringo High School in Eldama Ravine, Bitok noted that this new approach represents a major change from the previous curriculum, with the goal of developing a more capable and self-motivated generation of learners.
