Checking the KCSE 2025 Results: The official and most reliable way to check your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2025 results is through the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) online portal; the KCSE results checker. Here is a quick guide on accessing your KCSE 2025 results.
This is the most detailed, faster and official way for individual KCSE 2025 candidates to access their provisional results. Here is a step by step guide:

Your secondary school is the official distribution centre for the results.
Immediately after the official release by the Cabinet Secretary of Education, the Principal will receive a hard copy of the institution’s results printout and individual result slips. This can be collected from the school.
You can visit your school to collect your official result slip.
The school’s official results printout and the hard copy result slips are dispatched by KNEC to the respective schools through the Heads of Institutions, usually within one month after the release of the examination. But, the manual spreadsheet sent to schools contains results for all the KCSE candidates.
Follow these steps to access and download your school’s whole 2025 KCSE results from the official KNEC portal.
Pro Tip: Sometimes these results are uploaded a day after KCSE results are announced.
At educationnewshub.co.ke you can also get analyzed KCSE results and ranking for all schools.
SMS Check: The SMS method (e.g., sending an Index Number to a specific code like 20076) has been discontinued by KNEC for recent examination results (KCSE).
