Lugari Diploma Teachers Training College is located in Kakamega County, Lugari Sub County, in Munyuki Sub-Location, approximately 35kilometres from Eldoret on Uganda – Webuye Road, between Turbo Township and Kipkarren River Township, 4 km from the main Eldoret-Malaba road, in a serene and cool environment away from industrial and traffic pollution.

LUGARI TTC KUCCPS ADMISSION COURSES

Course 1: Diploma in Primary Teacher Education

Minimum Overall KCSE Requirement: Mean grade of C (plain) OR Mean Grade of C – (minus) for visually and hearing impaired persons.

Minimum KCSE Subject Requirements: None (Not required).

Course 2: Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education

Minimum Overall KCSE Requirement: Mean Grade of C+ 

Minimum KCSE Subject Requirements: 

• Arts/Non-Science: C+ in Two Teaching Subjects. English: C Plain, Mathematics: D+
• Science: C+ in Two Teaching Subjects. English: C Plain, Mathematics: C Plain

When KUCCPS opens its window for students to apply and/or revise their courses choice, please visit KUCCPS website www.students.kuccps.net to make your applicaion. Check course codes for courses offered at Lugari Diploma Teachers’ Training College to ensure you have the right course codes.

Students who missed to apply when KUCCPS opened its website for applications are advised to choose a course from the list below. Follow the steps as guided and fill in the details. You will receive a response through your email.

K.C.S.E. certificate/ Results slip will be verified before a student is guided for KUCCPS placement.
