Grade 6 KPSEA Candidates Have Been Alerted as KNEC Unveils Complete 2025 Examination Schedule

The Kenya National Examination Council has declared stringent measures for Grade 6 candidates in preparation for national assessments. The examinations will take place from October 24 to October 29, 2025.

As stated by KNEC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sarah Njeru, candidates are required to arrive at examination centers fifteen minutes in advance. “Any student arriving thirty minutes late will encounter severe repercussions,” she cautioned.

KNEC has published detailed timetables indicating that Mathematics will commence the assessment period on October 27. English papers will follow on the same day after a thirty-minute recess.

Candidates will face stringent restrictions prohibiting the possession of mobile phones in examination rooms. Students who are found with electronic devices risk immediate disqualification from the entire assessment.

Science subjects will take precedence on the second day of examinations starting at 8:30 AM. Kiswahili (‘Swahili language’) assessments will take place at 11:10 AM on that day.

Security protocols necessitate comprehensive searches of candidates prior to entering examination halls. Dr. Njeru highlighted the importance of maintaining examination integrity through rigorous monitoring measures.

Teachers have received strict instructions regarding the preservation of assessment integrity during this period. “Kusaidia wanafunzi” (‘helping students’) during examinations will lead to severe disciplinary action.

Creative Arts will conclude the assessment schedule on Wednesday, October 29. Social Studies papers will wrap up the examination calendar on the same morning.

Special arrangements will be made for candidates needing modified examination materials. Braille users will be allotted an additional forty minutes for each paper.

Centre managers are required to ensure “maandalizi” (‘preparations’) are completed prior to examination dates. Local security teams will oversee all examination materials continuously.

Education authorities have confirmed monitoring personnel will be deployed across examination centers nationwide. Multi-agency teams will facilitate the smooth execution of the assessment process.

Teachers are under strict warning against “kuingilia” (‘interference’) with examination procedures. Examination supervisors are obligated to report any suspicious behavior without delay.

Parents have been advised on how to properly prepare candidates for assessment days. Transportation arrangements must cater to early arrival needs.

School heads are tasked with ensuring “usafi” (‘cleanliness’) of examination venues before assessment dates. Adequate ventilation is required for all examination rooms.

The assessment council has stressed the importance of maintaining quiet areas around examination centers. Communities located near schools must observe silence during examination times.
