How to Select Grade 10 Subjects and schools
To select Grade 10 schools and subjects under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in Kenya, Grade 9 learners should first choose a career pathway (STEM, Social Sciences, or Arts & Sports Science). - Identify your interests and potential career aspirations.
- Select one of the three pathways: STEM, Social Sciences, or Arts & Sports Science.
- Confirm your choice to proceed with the pathway.
2. Select Subject Combinations:
- The portal will provide you with a list of subject combinations available within your chosen pathway.
- Choose three subject combinations that align with your interests and strengths.
3. Select Preferred Senior Schools:
- For each subject combination, select four schools from the available clusters.
- This ensures a diverse range of options and equal representation from different categories of schools.
- A total of 12 schools will be selected: 4 for the first subject combination, 4 for the second, and 4 for the third.
